About Us

Our History and Foundation

Sanctum Startup College was born out of necessity at a time in an environment where the need for entrepreneurial education was overwhelmingly apparent. Our goal therefore, is to catch them young. The plan is to infuse practical entrepreneurial activities into the high school curriculum from JSS 1 to SS3.

Our goals are to:

• Teach basic literacy and numeracy
• Establish foundations in social science, management science and the Arts
• Infuse entrepreneurship activities in as many subjects as possible
• Equip students with requisite knowledge, resources and tools for startup businesses
• Provide access to extracurricular activities, corporate exposure and networking
• Empower students to create

Who We Are

There is so much to learn about life than lessons can teach.

At Sanctum Startup College, Lagos, we give children an understanding of the world around them, so that they might find their places in it and equip themselves to make a significant contribution to it later in life.

Our approach to education is genuinely holistic and based on values and professionalism. Every child who joins the Sanctum Startup College, Lagos community is accepted as an individual, complete with their strengths and talents, challenges and foibles. Although our examination results will be highly impressive, we do not strive for academic achievement at the expense of all else. The children here see the learning process as a collaborative one. Each takes responsibility for his or her own path, guided by teachers they respect, and who care for them. Teachers who bring a sense of perspective and context to all that the children will be taught.

Our aim is to help each child move happily and successfully through the school from Reception to the SSCE and leave Sanctum Startup College, Lagos for a top notch university with a career of his or her choice or start a business and be an employer of labor. Additionally they will take with them a knowledge of who they are as an individual, what will fulfill them and how they can make a difference in the world that lies ahead.
